MP4 to MP3

Pull the soundtrack out of a video, or convert audio files, to MP3 or WAV. Everything happens in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

• Any video or audio in. MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV and 3GP videos, and M4A, MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, Ogg and Opus audio: whatever your browser can play.
• MP3 or WAV out. MP3 at 64 to 320 kbps, from small voice notes to best quality, or uncompressed 16-bit WAV for editing.
• Stereo or mono. Keep the left and right channels, or mix everything into one channel for a smaller file.
• Several files at once. Each gets its own download, named after the original: clip.mp4 becomes clip.mp3.
• Long phone videos. MP4 and MOV recordings are read a piece at a time, audio only, so long recordings don’t fill up your phone’s memory.

Long videos may not convert in this browser. It can’t decode a video’s sound a piece at a time, so all of it has to fit in memory at once, and videos longer than about 15 minutes can make the page reload. To convert longer videos, update your browser: on iPhone and iPad, to iOS 26 or later; on Android, to the latest Chrome.
