Compress Images
Make photos and images smaller, to email, upload or free up space. Everything happens in your browser. Your images are never uploaded.
- JPEG, PNG and WebP. Keep each image’s format, or convert them all. Other images your browser can open (GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC) become JPEGs.
- Choose the quality. Lower quality means a smaller file. Around 75% looks the same as the original for most photos.
- Shrink big photos. Limit the longest side, say to 1920 px, which is sharp on any screen and a fraction of a phone photo’s size.
- Private. Location, camera and other hidden details are removed from the saved images.
- Never bigger. If an image can’t be made smaller with your settings, you get the original back.
